| r rest
All the tabs i've seen on this bass line are, for the most part, wrong.
Here it is, in plain and simple form. If you need to get the rhythm down, play along
the lead guitar at 2:42, it takes a little practice.
Update: I've realized the tuning is actually DGDG, not standard. So here's the revised version.
Main Riff:
--------------------------------
--------------------------------
--------------------3--r-5--r-7-
-0--------3--r-5--r-------------
That's it..Really, that's it.
There's a part in the beginning to middle where everybody reenters (the extremely fast
solo).
1:38
-----------------------------
-----------------------------
-7---------------------------
-0------/3--/5--/8--/10--/12-
Just slide all the way to the 12th fret, but pick each note.
When harder guitar parts come in, you can fill in more notes for more power (make sure
keep in rhythm, drums are very important in this song);
1:38 - 2:25
----------------------------------
----------------------------------
--------------------3--3r5--r-7---
-0--0--0--3--3r5--r---------------
2:26 - 3:14
--------------------------------
--------------------------------
---7-----------------3-3-3-5--r-
-0---0-0--3-3-3-5--r------------
The outro with the piano is just the main riff, but softer.
Outro:
-------------------------------
-------------------------------
-------------------3--r-5--r-7-
-0-------3--r-5--r-------------
That's it, enjoy
