======================================================
Artist: Metallica
  Song: One
 Album: ...And Justice For All
===========================================================

Tabbed: TheMutts @ Ultimate-Guitar.com
Email: [email protected]

Note: To play Kirk's part (the solos), or atleast one of the
solos you need a 24 fret guitar. I have Kirk's ESP so I'm set but the rest of the song
you can get by with a 22 or 21 fret I think.

Key: (# represents any number that might be there)

#s# - slide from one fret to the next
/# - slide down from nowhere (just down/up the neck)
\# - slide up from nowhere
#/ - pick the note then slide down to nowhere
#\ - pick the note then slide up to nowhere
# (#) - let note ring
#b# - pick the note (first #) then bend it to sound like your wereing play the
      second note (second #) (example: pick fret 9 on the G string, now pick fret
      10 on G.. now pick fret 9 on G and bend it up to sound like it was 10 on G)
      if theres and r, that means release on the fret number it tells you.
#h#p# - pick a note, hammer on to the next on, then pull off to the last note
 - normal harmonics (lightly touch string with finger and pick)
 - artificial/pinched harmonics (this is complicated but basicly you pick the string, then
        with the finger holding the pick touchs the string to mute it slightly, this all happens
        while you pick the string ones, so you may need to adjust the way you hold to pick so
        your finger will touch the string after picking it.
P.M.--| - palm mute
x - mute note with fret hand when used in chords/power chords, a palm muted 0 when alone
