Handy tips on making this sound good:
You need a warm sounding distortion - a sharper one makes this sound screechy and painful.
Also, practice slowly to make sure all your slides are accurate, because a wrong note
out
like Marilyn Manson at a church fete in this section. Finally, use plenty of vibrato on
notes to
avoid that lifeless, enraged-bumblebee-in-a-jar tone that so many people seem to
in.

Those four chords at the end of the last lick/riff:
e---------------------------------------------------------|
B---------------------------------------------------------|
G--5--3---------------------------------------------------|
D--5--3--6--5---------------------------------------------|
A--3--1--6--5---------------------------------------------|
E--------4--3---------------------------------------------|

Riff 3 (with wah):
e-------x-x-x-x-------------x-x-x-x-------------x-x-x-x----------|
B-------x-x-x-x-12-12-------x-x-x-x-14-12-------x-x-x-x-12-12----|
G-------x-x-x-x-12-12-------x-x-x-x-14-12-------x-x-x-x-12-12----|
D----------------------------------------------------------------|
A----------------------------------------------------------------|
E--0--0----------------0--0----------------0--0------------------|
Played twice with improvised endings. I'm pretty sure Buckethead improvises the endings,
also it's more fun.

Riff 4 (with wah):
e------------------------------------------------------------|
B------------------------------------------------------------|
G------------------------------------------------------------|
D------------------------------------------------------------|
A------------------------------------------------------------|
E--1--1-1--1-1--1-1-1-2--0-(x3, then)-1--1-1--1-1--4-4-4-2-1-|

Listen to the recording to get the rhythm. Not just this riff, but in the whole song in general,
it's important to get your picking hand doing the "chugga chugga" kinda rhythm. You can get
by with the odd wrong note, as long as the rhythm of your picking hand is right. That's
bit
you can really 'feel' in the song. The notes are almost just a happy by-product of the
rhythm.

Riff 5 (backing):
e----------------------------------------------------------|
B----------------------------------------------------------|
G----------------------------------------------------------|
D-3--4--3s4--2---------------------------------------------|
A-3--4--3s4--2---------------------------------------------|
E-1--2--1s2--0---------------------------------------------|

Riff 5 (lead):
e---------------------------------------|
b------------------------------12~------|
G---------11h12h13p12p11----------------|
D-15-15-15-----------------15-----------|
A---------------------------------------|
E---------------------------------------|

Yes, I'm aware there's another fingering. However, my hammer-on/pull-off technique is
yet at
a level where I can roll all four fingers back and fourth fluently at that speed, so I
this
fingering easier. Play around if you find it hard....all the notes are right though.

Main theme:
e------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B--8---8-------6---8---8-------6---8---8-------6---------------6---------------------------|
G----8---8-7-8---8---8---8-7-8---8---8---8-7-8---8-5-7-8-7-7-8---8-------------------------|
D------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Don't let the notes bleed into each other - a very light (and I mean very light) palm
is required.

Main theme (rhythm... as tabbed by Sequanselar):
e------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
b------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D--10----------8-----------10---------8------------10----------8-----------6-----------8---|
A--10----------8-----------10---------8------------10----------8-----------6-----------8---|
E--8-----------6-----------8----------6------------8-----------6-----------4-----------6---|

...and the solo. Improvise
