My Sweet Lord - George Harrison
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will need a slide to play this song correctly.
And I'm sure that the guitar (lead) has a different tuning:

e
A#  (Tune down the B string to A#)
G
D
A
E

INTRO:

e |-16--14\12--12/14--12-------------16--14\12--12/14--12--------------------|
A#|-----------------------15--15---------------------------15-------18-------|
G |-----------------------------------------------------------16/18----18\16-|

* you'll need to use your finger for the last 2 slides down.

That's about everything the lead guitar does. The intro goes clean and the
switch to the left while the solo has some distortion with the switch to the
right, right?.
This different tuning is absolutely correct, there's no other way of playing it.
It's totally worth to try it and a slide shouldn't cost more than $10.

As for the chords they go like:

(capo = 2nd)

Em - A7 (VERSE)
D - Bm - D - Bm - D - D#dim (CHORUS)
D - D7 - B - E - Fdim (BRIDGE)

F#m - B7 (VERSE)
E - C#m - E - C#m - E - Fdim (CHORUS)

      EADGBE
D#dim:XX1212
Fdim :XX3434
